Shaaban Ahmad

This brooch and matching earrings are in honour of Shaaban Ahmad, a 20 year old man with the sweetest smile, who was burned alive in his wheelchair when an air strike hit his makeshift tent outside Al-Aqsa hospital in Deir al Balah on 14 Octover 2025. Images of him being burned alive flooded the internet. His mother was also killed in the same fire. Passers by tried to save him but the intensity of the flames from the air strike were too much.
