Kishmish is made up of two sisters who are trying to find a way to pour love back into a world that is full of so much unnecessary suffering and division. We started making earrings as a way of dealing with the horrors that we were bearing witness to and as a way of honouring the lives of so many innocent souls that have been killed. We called ourselves Kishmish because a kishmish is a dried up grape, a sultana. There is something symbolic in a sultana. It transforms to something sweeter with age, more wise.
